Competitive Trivia Team
Congratulations to our Competitive Trivia Team (formerly called Academic Challenge). Our Edgemont students placed second overall at an Academic Challenge tournament on 10/25 at Horace Greeley High School. They also placed eighth out of 30 teams, and Blake Feinstein placed 19th out of 107 individuals, at Livingston ACE III, a quiz bowl tournament on 11/8. The photo is from the 10/25 tournament.

Final exams for grades 7-12 will begin on Friday, June 12, 2026, with the last day of regular classes scheduled for Thursday, June 11.

At this year’s Annual CAES Institute, the June U. Stillwell Outstanding New York State Latin Program Award was presented to the Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School Latin program. On behalf of the board members of the Classical Association of the Empire State, the award was presented to Carol Condos and Jonathan Hansonbrook by CAES president, Kristen Griswold.

The EHS Music Department competed at the 2024 National Jazz Festival in Philadelphia on February 9-11th. Multiple students won awards for their performances.

Eight Edgemont students are featured in the 41st annual Young Artists Exhibit.
