At this year’s Annual CAES Institute, the June U. Stillwell Outstanding New York State Latin Program Award was presented to the Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School Latin program. On behalf of the board members of the Classical Association of the Empire State, the award was presented to Carol Condos and Jonathan Hansonbrook by CAES president, Kristen Griswold.

EHS senior, Bennett O'Reilley, was recently chosen as a finalist in the annual Drexel University Student Photography Contest.

The EHS Music Department competed at the 2024 National Jazz Festival in Philadelphia on February 9-11th. Multiple students won awards for their performances. 

Eight Edgemont students are featured in the 41st annual Young Artists Exhibit.

Edgemont High School's Paws for a Cause club took a field trip to Paws Crossed Animal Rescue in Elmsford in January.

During the month of November, the Art Department honored Native American Heritage Month with the art of Raven Halfmoon.

The Edgemont High School science research team made a strong showing in the prestigious Regeneron Westchester Science and Engineering Fair (WESEF), with 21 students winning 25 awards, including Edgemont senior Nova Wang who earned a spot in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

Middle schoolers teamed up with young students to mentor them in creating a poetry podcast using equipment that was purchased thanks to a grant from the Edgemont School Foundation. 

The smash show 'Mean Girls" was a huge hit at the Edgemont High School musical performance in March. 

Edgemont sophomore Sofia Gisbert punches her ticket to states after earning a top score in the high school gymnastics sectional meet.

For Sharon Flynn, the new Assistant Principal at Edgemont Junior-Senior High School, the warm greetings began before she even took the post.

Edgemont Junior-Senior High School athletes gathered to welcome the winter sports season with a pep rally in the school gymnasium Friday, Dec. 9, 2022.

“Any time we can get the students together and celebrate the school and inspire school spirit is great,” said Principal Kyle Hosier.

Congratulations to the Edgemont Model UN club for an outstanding performance at this year's Rutgers University Model United Nations Conference.
