Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School - A Warm Place To Be (Literally and Figuratively!)

The best way to characterize the opening weeks of school at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School would be “high energy, upbeat, and hot.” We welcomed forty new students into our school spanning six grades, along with two new math teachers, and three special educators. Our new ICAP program, headed by familiar Edgemont face Laura Rhuda, has made a wonderful addition to our campus. The opening week of school included events on both ends of the EHS spectrum: On-Deck Day for incoming seventh graders to become acquainted with the school, and Senior Road Painting Day -- a chance for our twelfth graders to celebrate the start of their last year by decorating the parking lot (and themselves). Panther Pride was running high during our recent Homecoming Week, capped off by a Homecoming Dance. In short, classes, sports, music, theater, arts, and clubs are all in full-swing, and the 2018-19 school year is already shaping up to be a fabulous one.

Sincerely,

Kyle Hosier
